A victim of childhood abuse, for Jill Tomlinson the lies began early, and they did not stop, but compounded. One lie built upon the next, and for every lie that Satan subtly whispered, another waited in the shadows to solidify the one before. Each lie became a chain wrapped around Jill’s soul, binding and choking the very life within her. In No More Lies, Jill leads you through the same journey of biblical truth that brought her freedom―identifying Satan’s strongholds in your life, unshackling your heart and mind and enabling you to walk confidently in the Kingdom destiny for which you were created. With transparency and candor, Jill addresses infidelity, abortion and other supposedly unforgivable sins and reveals the father heart of God to bring restoration, healing and clarity. She explores the lives of biblical characters such as David, Esther and Peter, revealing the ways you can learn from their examples, renewing your mind, overcoming fear and moving confidently into the future God has ordained for you.

Jill is President and co-founder of Transcend Ministries. She is an author and speaker. The desire of her heart is to see complacency eradicated, broken lives healed, and captives freed from debilitating lies of the enemy. She speaks straight to the heart, addressing sometimes difficult and overlooked issues so men and women of God can rise to greater levels of victory as they discover their unique purpose.

My thoughts:

This is a book that cuts to the heart of why many of us seem to keep making the same mistakes over and over. We believe the lies the enemy tries to whisper to our hearts and we can’t move past it.

This book is geared toward men and woman. So men, just because it’s written my a woman doesn’t mean it’s not for you as well. Men believe just as many lies as women.

Jill shared a lot of things that resonated with me but one thing grabbed me early on because it met me right were I was that day.

On page 43 Jill says, “God is always faithful to protect the integrity of His Word. His promise was not dependent upon Abraham’s perfection or lack of it. Likewise, in your life, even in the midst of weakness, mistakes, and failures, if you have entered into covenant with Him by making Jesus your Lord, God will guard over you and His Word in your life.” Love that. How good or bad we are doesn’t change God’s love for us. However, it can change the sensitivity of our hearts to feel His love.

If you find yourself still shackled to old lies this might be a book you want to pick up and allow the truths to set you free.
