My thoughts:

What wonderful book. I’m not sure if this is considered a series, it can definitely be read as a stand alone but Catherine wrote a book a couple of years ago that has the same characters I and loved that book.

This one is equally engaging and we get to know a different family member, Elizabeth, better this time.

The author did a great job of depicting Matthew’s niece, Mia, all attitude and know everything, yep, I’ve encountered that.

I also loved being in the POV of Liz’s father and his fading memory. How sad and eye-opening to read his thoughts as his memories slowly fades away and the hope that his family has when he says something that makes sense.

I recommend this one!
