Genesis 5020

Stories for His Glory

About January 22, 2012

My name is Melissa Finnegan and I live in Michigan. I am a wife, mother, daughter of the King of Kings, teacher, writer and speaker. I have an amazing husband, Patrick, who is also my best friend and my biggest supporter. I always say he is everything I ever wanted in a husband and everything I never knew I wanted, or needed. I have two awesome children that are truly a gift from God, a beautiful daughter and dashing son.

My prayer is that God will use this blog for His glory, that He will give me wisdom as I share what He has done, and does, in my life, other’s lives and the writing journey.

First Chronicles 16: 24 says:Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.

That is my desire, to write about the great things God has done in my life. He has taken the things in my life that were meant to harm me and now is using them for His glory so many can be saved. That is the point of Genesis 50:20. That is my life verse, the verse that God has used in my marriage. Patrick and I want to share what God has done in our lives with everyone. I want to live that truth out and let God’s glory shine. He wastes nothing.

Everyone has a Genesis 50:20, it’s time we start sharing our stories with the world.
