This has been an amazing series read. I enjoyed each book thoroughly. Stephanie put a unique story and how God works in our lives into each of these siblings that we read about.

You can read my review of the the first three books below followed by my newest review of the final book, The Marriage Bargain

About:

Falling for her convenient groom
Family Blessings lead to new beginnings

Jules Sheehan will do anything to keep custody of the two orphaned girls in her care—including a marriage of convenience with their uncle. Cam Quinn crosses the globe as a travel writer, but he’s ready to settle down. Now tough, tender Jules is offering the home he’s secretly longed for. Can this marriage in name only become a family of the heart?

My thoughts:

This book doesn’t waste any time throwing our two main characters into a sticky situation.

Jules and Cam are attracted to each other but don’t plan on marrying each other right after they reconnect but that is just what they do and then let the romance and the fighting the romance begin.

This is a wonderful story of two people coming together with one common goal but they must overcome their own personal obstacles a long the way. I appreciated Jules struggle with wanting to be perfect but realizing she might have to let that go. Cam’s struggle to overcome his broken past will touch your heart.

A wonderful ending this well-written series.

About:

Her Christmas Match

After inheriting a gift shop in Love, Alaska, single mom Maggie Richards is ready for a new beginning—while her little boy is ready for a new daddy! But Maggie has no time for love—she wants to open the shop in time for Christmas, something she’ll do with help from childhood friend Finn O’Rourke. Finn’s on board to help Maggie—but not with the romance rumors that swirl around them like snow. Like Maggie, he’s hiding too many secrets to ever wed. So why do Maggie and her little boy make him dream of finding an unusual gift under the tree—a ready-made family?

My thoughts:

If you love Hallmark movies you will fall in love with this charming book. This book very much reminded me of many of the Christmas Hallmark movies I have been watching lately.

I wondered how Maggie and Finn (love his Irish name) would get around their strongly held beliefs that romance was out of the question. Of course you throw a cute kid in there and your heart is bound to melt.

If you want one last Christmas read before the season if over this one will be a good one to pick up.

A Father’s Second Chance by Mindy Obenhaus November 9, 2015

This week, the
Christian Fiction Blog Alliance
is introducing
A Father’s Second Chance
Love Inspired (July 21, 2015)
by
Mindy Oberhaus

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

A Word from the Author: To steal a line from Donny and Marie, I’m a little bit country, a little bit rock-n-roll. I’m trapped in the city, but prefer the country or the mountains.

I love Jesus, my family, and just about anything sweet.

I believe Jesus died for my sins, rose three days later, and will one day return. He has carried me through some of my darkest hours. Without faith in Him, I would be nowhere.

I have a penchant for chocolate, clothes, and shoes. When I’m not penning romance novels, I enjoy cooking, decorating and shopping.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Businesswoman Celeste Thompson has one goal: to make her restaurant and hotel a success. She doesn’t need any distractions, even from handsome contractor Gage Purcell and his two adorable little girls. Besides, single dad Gage is just biding his time before a big job at the mines comes through. But as Celeste’s project springs to life, their arguments transform into attraction. Gage isn’t looking for romance, especially not with another career-driven woman like his ex-wife. But openhearted Celeste is more than just another work-consumed client. She might just be his happily-ever-after.

If you would like to read the first chapter of A Father’s Second Chance, go HERE.

My thoughts:

I loved this story. The story world was so rich and real and that is true of most Love Inspired books.

Celeste is not what she appears at Gage’s first glance. She is kind and carries wounds that help her to see the world differently.

Gage’s vow to stay away from women crumbles pretty easily around Celeste.

Then we have Gage’s sweet daughters. They will melt your heart.

The romance is a slow build and wonderfully done between these two. If you like a good romance you will adore this book.
