My thoughts:
This was a very interesting book. I loved getting a look at aviation in the beginning. We take it for granted now but it wasn’t always a common thing.
I adored Bella’s spunk and drive to break the mold of what woman should do and be.
James was a strong character too with this drive to be the first to cross the English Channel. He found himself attracted to Bella but the reality of their stations in life held him back. There was also the mystery surrounding his birth and how his parents were.
Overall, an entertaining read that I enjoyed.
